Post: Specialist (Band 6) Occupational Therapist
Base: Grange and Lodge (16 Beds split across the two sites, 8 Beds at each)
Responsible for: The post holder will lead the OT team providing Occupational Therapy provision across both of the sites.
Responsible to: Head OT (Band 8) at Grange and Lodge (on site manager for supervision)
Hours: 40 hours per week

Overview of site/Ward: Cygnet Grange and Lodge was our first Neuropsychiatry Unit within Cygnet. It consists of two units with 8 beds at each site the unit has a full MDT which works across both of the sites.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care which will encompass OT assessments, treatment and management of patients within the service.
In this role you will assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme according to service user’s diagnosis and identified needs. This will be based upon findings from assessments including associated risks, in order to develop treatment plans accordingly.
