YOUR ROLE

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and tenacious Operational Key Account Manager; this role will be dedicated to a major multi-national customer and can be based at Ashby de la Zouch or remotely based dependent on preference.

As the Operational Key Account Manager, you will support customer service excellence through the management of logistics service solutions, this role will also support the achievement of service level agreements, key performance indicators, profit objectives and business upselling.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As the point of escalation and resolution of services, supply chain solutions and operational failures, this pivotal role will act as the interface between the customer and the CEVA operation. Your areas of responsibility will be;

  • Drive operational excellence and customer experience
  • Shares best practice and drive continuous improvements, including engagement and coordination of new initiatives across the wider business.
  • Provide strategic leadership and act as a senior point of contact
  • Review account strategies in conjunction with the commercial account owner
  • Ensure that the highest quality of service is provided to the customer by understanding their business needs, speaking their language to exceed expectations
  • Monitoring of KPI's and ensuring smoot operations and efficient processes, engagement with BPE where service failures are identified
  • Generate defined KPI’s and provide material for routine reviews, conducting a root cause analysis when results or subpar and engaging the necessary teams for corrective measures.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of custom or co-pack operations with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, coordinate and support dispersed teams.

You will be able to demonstrate a forward-thinking approach with the ability to actively contribute to solutions, taking both a strategic and tactical view. You will have exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact and engage with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. An understanding of operating processes and capabilities, business process standardisation and enabling technologies are also key requirements for this role.

Flexibility to travel is required to visit operations and customers.
