Job Summary

Law Business Research are an award-winning global provider of legal content and business intelligence for the legal and intellectual property markets. We create essential and unique information for our subscribers, who are drawn from over 100 countries around the world, via our global brands. With a strong platform for international growth, and a reputation for creating outstanding content, we can offer individuals an intellectually stimulating work environment that puts global legal and intellectual property issues at the heart of our business.

We support a diverse workforce and inclusive workplace, and welcome applications from different backgrounds.

We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join our growing team to focus on delivering value to our global client base of leading law firms and in-house legal teams at major corporates. You will work with the wider business teams along the product delivery lifecycle from customer and business insight to value and learning.

You will bring structured customer insight to the team by using a mixture of primary qualitative research (talking to customers!) and observed data of how customers engage with the product. As the Product Manager, you are the voice of the customer in the team, creating understanding and empathy throughout the team with your customers. The ability to influence colleagues and stakeholders, through your use of data, logic and storytelling, is key to this role.

What you would be doing:

  • Transform our ambitious roadmap into detailed requirements – working collaboratively with developers to deliver user flows, wireframes and user stories.
  • Manage and prioritise a backlog ensuring the team is focused and enabled to deliver on priorities.
  • Make decisions on scope to deliver value in increments as quickly as possible.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, be the go-to person, enable fast decision-making.
  • Set, measure, and analyse KPIs and base your priorities and decisions for next steps on metrics.
  • Performing systematic tests and optimise products post launch for engagement.
  • Provide relevant information to the sales and marketing teams.

What we are looking for:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of Product Management or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience of product discovery and delivery.
  • Proven ability to deliver measurable value to clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working closely with software engineers, UX, project managers, marketing, and business stakeholders.
  • Able to tackle complex problems and present logical and structured recommendations based on data.
  • Experience in LegalTech, RegTech or similar content-heavy products would be a bonus but not essential.

In return we can offer you a rewarding career with personal and professional development in addition to a competitive salary with an excellent benefits package:

  • 25 days holiday
  • Private healthcare
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Season ticket loan
  • Gym membership
  • Pension
  • Life assurance

To apply, please send your CV and cover letter explaining why you are suitable for this role via the APPLY link. We look forward to receiving your application.
