Role Description
Would you like to play an integral role within the BAE Systems, Air Team? Due to growth across our portfolio of products and services, we have an opportunity for a Project Manager in the UK Region to support our Falcon Works Project. As a Project Manager within the Air Sector, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of business critical programmes & services presenting you with an ideal opportunity to further your career.
Air is ideally placed to influence current and future product delivery whilst driving business transformation, implementing new processes and where appropriate harnessing emergent technologies to maximise the success of the programmes we support.  If successful, you will play a digital role in delivering essential expertise related to core Air activities supporting the programmes and services using recognised methodologies and deliver to time, cost and quality. 
These roles present a unique opportunity to get on-board and be part of the next chapter of the Air Sector giving you key exposure to some of the globes biggest Air Sector Defence programmes.

The ideal candidate Good hands-on experience of delivering projects within an agile environment.
Ability to quickly embed themselves within the project and it processes, as well as show innovation and be a catalyst for change.
Process improvement and business change experience would be beneficial.
Experience dealing with complex product development; plan, design, manufacture, test, integrate and dispose.
Need to be proactive and able to work autonomously.
Advantageous if they have experience working in the automotive, rail or defence sector.
Can monitor the progress of business change management activities and provide insightful recommendations.
Provide regular and meaningful reports to stakeholders on the delivery of business change management plans on the project.
Identify, assess and manage risks arising from project management activities.
