About the role
Joining us as a Project Manager, you will be part of the PMO Team - a friendly, approachable, and dedicated team providing a project management service to both JRHT and JRF. You’ll manage a portfolio of internal projects which are technical, finance or change focussed across JRHT and JRF. There’s a lot of variety in our work, so you’ll need to be able manage a diverse portfolio which in return will give you the opportunity to learn about different areas of the organisation as you support them to deliver on their project objectives. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take the lead on several projects at various stages of the project lifecycle.
As a project manager, you’ll ensure that the projects are scoped, planned, delivered, and embedded to deliver intended benefits and meet success criteria. You’ll work closely with the PMO manager, and with internal and external stakeholders as part of the project team.
About you
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager - you’ll be responsible for a varied project portfolio and should be comfortable and confident in managing several small to medium sized projects at any given time. You should be able to evidence successful delivery of projects and be able to demonstrate effective knowledge and use of project management tools and techniques in doing so.
You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of managing multiple stakeholders and building relationships across different levels. You will be confident in coordinating project/event activity, potentially across multiple locations, and motivating the project team to deliver. You’ll encourage collaboration to enable the successful delivery of projects.
You’ll be proactive and able to prioritise your workload effectively, taking direction from the PMO manager and project sponsors where appropriate. You’ll be confident in providing clear written and verbal progress updates to relevant stakeholders.
