• Excellent research and writing skills for by-line articles and press releases. • Creative thinking and an ability to create unique stories and compelling campaign ideas that really stand out and attract coverage. • reviews and revises campaign strategy in light of sales figures, surveys, etc. and takes appropriate corrective measures if necessary; • stays abreast of changes in media, readership or viewing figures and advertising rates; • Experience across various verticals with both larger brands and small businesses would be beneficial, however not essential. Above all, we are looking for someone with a great personality, with an edge that makes them stand out from the crowd. • Excellent communication skills for outreach and pitching (over the phone, and in person). • Be able to analyse a company, product, content piece or raw data to find a story and hook. • Be full of ideas about how even the most seemingly boring of companies can get mainstream media coverage! • Great organisational and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of recent public relations experience. • Ability to establish and implement cohesive communication and public relations strategies and plans on an institutional basis. • Strong strategic planning and management skills. • Knowledge of communication principles, media, and public relations techniques. • Outstanding interpersonal and community relations skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively within a diverse community. • Turkish, Russian, Kyrgyz language, Kazakh language, English would be an advantage
