We are looking for an analytical & self motivated person with quality assurance experience in the aerospace and/or space engineering sector, who has knowledge, implementation and use of and ISO 9001 and non conformance reporting systems, to join our team.

You will be responsible for helping to develop and maintain the Company’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and for monitoring the health of the quality management system. You will conduct quality assurance audits both internally & with suppliers, and have a knowledge of design to manufacture & product development lifecycle.

To be successful you'll need:
  • Significant previous quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally aerospace or automotives
  • Knowledge, implementation and use of and ISO 9001.
  • Experience in quality assurance auditing (both internal and with suppliers);
  • Experience with design for manufacture and product development lifecycle;
  • Experience with quality tools, including root cause and corrective action and process auditing;
  • Understanding of requirements management systems.
  • Excellent decision-making abilities.
  • Self-motivated but with the ability to work successfully with inter-disciplinary teams, providing guidance and inspiration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to present complex data to stakeholders at all levels, including Customers and Senior Management.
  • Work to a high level of detail and establish appropriate priorities to meet deadlines

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

Working hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. Flexible working arrangements will be considered
