Our Options Market Making team, utilize ultra-low latency and high performant trading platforms to provide best in class pricing and liquidity to markets. We are consistently ranked within the top three liquidity providers on the exchanges and markets we are mature in. The successful candidate will join our Options Market Making team. As a Quant Researcher, you will be given the freedom to pursue your own ideas and implement them all the way to production. You will work on various challenging projects including but not limited to option pricing models, volatility modelling and fitting, trading parameter optimization and event modelling.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in London (with the possibility of transferring to Hong Kong or Chicago in the future).
Employ the latest quantitative techniques to develop innovative real-time trading models and solutions for low latency trading systems for exchange-traded options and futures Research advanced algorithms, develop predictive models and verify complex hypotheses using large datasets Implement methods to visualize multidimensional data and develop real-time performance measurement tools Work in an environment where creativity and continuous learning are incentivized and supported by your team
Academic degree in applied mathematics, engineering or physics desired Experience in working with large datasets and/or high-performance systems Relevant programming experience (Python, C++, Git) Proactive interest in improving existing trading strategies and identifying new opportunities Ability to take a high level of responsibility in an expanding, highly successful firm The embodiment of Maven’s core values: Integrity and fairness, market-leading, creativity, individual and collective success, discipline and accountability
