Job Description

Recruitment Manager


£45,000 - £50,000, plus bonus and Car Allowance.


Based Ringwood, Hampshire





Colten Care have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and innovative Recruitment Manager looking for their next role. You will lead a small team of driven Senior Recruitment Advisers to provide a professional recruitment and selection service which is focussed on the candidate journey. The role manages a high volume of vacancies - anything up to and exceeding 80 job roles in any week - so you will need to think on your feet and be able to work at high-pace, demonstrating flexibility and resilience. 


Your role will involve:

  • Supporting the Director of Human Resources to develop our recruitment strategy and improve resource planning
  • Delivery of a professional, slick recruitment and selection service
  • Providing regular support, direction and objective setting with the recruitment team
  • Playing a ‘hands-on’ role in matters of candidate attraction, screening and shortlisting, where needed
  • Partnering with the Operations team to ensure recruitment plans are aligned, managing stakeholder expectations
  • Driving up our hiring managers’ choice of quality candidates
  • Working collaboratively with the Marketing department to design special recruitment campaigns 
  • Taking a data-led approach to attracting and selecting people from the widest pool of quality candidates
  • Critically evaluating the effectiveness of our recruitment and selection processes, including onboarding
  • Developing our careers website, ATS and online presence 

About You


As a seasoned recruiter, you may already work in a similar role or be a team leader considering a step up, or looking for your first recruitment management role. Either way, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of introducing innovation to improve quality hires. The ability to think creatively is essential to help differentiate our recruitment offer from the competition, as are strong project planning, analytical and organisational skills. You will lead by example through a sustained focus on key metrics, have an analytical mind and pay attention to detail. 


You will hold a relevant Degree, Associate CIPD or equivalent and have an in-depth knowledge of recruitment issues in our sector. Other essential skills include the ability to work on your own initiative and in partnership with other professionals, strong customer relationship and people management skills.
