In support of the University’s internationalisation strategy an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the International Office, with the University’s Directorate of External Relations.

The post will lead to the University’s international student recruitment activities in the Americas (USA and Canada, Latin and South America), with the aim of increasing the number of international students recruited to the University and improving conversion of applicants to registered students at undergraduate, postgraduate and study abroad level. The post holder will be required to coordinate strategy to maximise regional performance and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve results.

Applicants should have relevant experience in student recruitment and/or marketing and outstanding written and oral communication skills. Relevant work experience of the North American and/or the Study Abroad market would be particularly desirable, along with experience of leading a team (in a project context or as a line manager).

The position of Regional Manager sits within the International Office which forms part of the wider Directorate of External Relations, part of the University’s Professional Services. With approximately 1500 staff, Professional Services has a number of student and academic focused functions as along with other corporate and support roles.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6 scale (£33,797 - £40,323 per annum), with placement according to qualifications and experience.
