Rentokil Initial has an IT strategy, in the main, of developing and deploying bespoke applications across the Prospect to Cash business processes. The Group Information Systems (GIS) function is developing an exciting new generation suite of Enterprise solutions utilising an Enterprise Service Bus and SOA architecture

 

The role

 

As a Reporting & Insight Analyst your main responsibility will be to drive reporting innovation (creation, deployment and adoption) for customers and sales teams across Rentokil Initial by utilising key relationships and excellent stakeholder management. You will be using your experience to create dashboards and reports. The candidate should have a good knowledge of using QlikSense and SQL. The candidate should have some experience working with the cloud, have excellent communication skills and take ownership of their projects from start to finish. They should have good business analysis skills as well as experience in a client facing role.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

Reporting and Dashboard Development
Utilising key relationships, understand what is required by the business and our customers in terms of reporting and dashboards.
Determine whether the requirements are as a result of knowledge or existing report functionality gaps.
Based on existing report functionality gaps, engage with key stakeholders and the data platform team to develop required reports and dashboards.
Using an iterative process, obtain buy-in from key stakeholders ensuring that reports and dashboards meet requirements.
Demonstrate the value / ROI in terms of the benefits the report will bring to the business in order to resource its development.
Data wrangling activities to support the development of reports and dashboards.

 

User Adoption
Produce and maintain supporting documentation detailing the purpose of the report, any business rules/processes, KPI definitions etc..
Working with the data platform team, build a list of country champions that can support the deployment of new reports or release of new functionality in an existing report.
Ensure that user adoption statistics are available for all sales and customer reports to provide visibility on key metrics such as: number of users, average clicks/time, key report pages/components used etc...
Using user adoption statistics, promote the use of the various reports which are available internally with the objective of increasing awareness and usage of the sales and customer reports.
Create support collateral (videos, elearning, etc) which is based on user stories to show how best to use the reports internally to drive sales performance or revenue opportunities with customers. These materials should be published in the RI learning management system, U+.
General promotion of the Command Centre and all of the reports available to the business.
