We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced learning professional to join our highly skilled and knowledgeable team within Capita Learning as a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager is accountable for the development and growth of the Apprenticeship area of learning across all sectors. You will support clients in providing expert learning advice and be accountable for identifying and delivering profitable solutions.

What you will be doing:
Building successful, long-term commercial relationships with key decision makers and opinion formers within your allocated clients
Generate new sales leads and business streams to meet sales targets in the Apprenticeship space.
Prepare and maintain an annual sales plan.
Consistent on target performance against individual sales plans.
Prepare and maintain accurate account plans and pipeline reports.
Contribute to the monthly board report/MPR.
Responsible for timely and accurate forecasting and effectively track, monitor and manage opportunities within agreed internal systems
Collaborate across Capita Learning and wider Capita to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
Understand and identify competitor trends and wider market conditions
Gather success stories and case studies from learning programs that can be used in marketing materials and our website
What we are looking for:
Proven sales experience within the learning industry and in particular the Apprenticeship space
Proven experience delivering upwards of £1million revenue per annum
L&D and Apprenticeships industry experience is essential
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Real focus on customers including account management, service delivery and customer service
Strong service orientation with the ability to have difficult customer conversations.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
