We are now looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Innovation Delivery Team in Capenhurst on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will be tasked with developing software products that will change the way electricity networks are operated, lower carbon emissions and support our 'Net Zero’ approach.
Supporting clients by acting as a software Product Owner and providing consultancy services, you will enable them to supply their customers with great service through safeguarding their networks.
Working with distribution networks, local planning authorities, generators, large energy users and research bodies, you will identify their challenges and highlight innovative solutions.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop opportunities into potential projects
- Represent our organisation at industry forums, working groups and conferences
- Provide great service, every time
About You
To be considered as our Senior Consultant, you will need:
- Experience working in an engineering industry in an analytical, engineering or software role
- An understanding of, and ability to, interpret technical challenges facing the electricity networks and their customers
- An understanding of software programming
- Knowledge of, and an aptitude in, Agile and PRINCE2 based project management
- Excellent analytical, presentation and communications skills
- The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
Experience within a distribution network, related consultancy or electricity industry experience would be beneficial to your application.
