We are looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Nursing - Learning Disability. The key duties of the role holder will be to teach on the undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes across the Nursing portfolio, and to contribute to the management of these programmes, where possible. It is expected that the role holder will contribute to the development of all facets of Nursing (Learning Disability) within the subject group and to the wider portfolio of the Faculty.

You will have a first degree in a relevant area and registration with the NMC. Ideally you will have a teaching qualification and a PhD/Professional Doctorate or be willing to complete in dedicated timescales.

The successful candidate should demonstrate an awareness of current developments in Nursing (Learning Disability) as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a rang e of links between academic and research initiatives and employers. Relevant teaching and programme delivery experience, as well as being able to undertake appropriate subject specific research and/or advanced creative practice and/or enterprise activity is essential.
