senior marketing executive

We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Somerset, UK. As a Senior Marketing Executive you will be reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced marketeer to be involved with a variety of tasks that allows for the successful implementation of the company's sales and marketing strategy. The role is extremely varied blended with both offline and online marketing activities/campaigns closely aligned with the sales strategy. This bespoke solutions based business require a real creative thinker with a commercial mindset on what looks great, is informative yet ultimately adding to the sales output. Key duties and responsibilities...

• Marketing company products by coordinating and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns.
• Monitoring results of marketing campaigns
• Preparing for trade shows and preparing reports
• Implementing marketing and advertising campaigns
• Creation of promotional materials, such as brochures, leaflets, branded stationery, as well as digital material like email marketing campaigns and marketing related videos.
• Managing and updating existing WordPress websites, working with our website and hosting agency partner.
• Setting up and managing of PPC campaigns across major search engines, and analysing results to make positive changes.
• Supporting sales team by providing promotional literature for sales presentations.
• Monitoring trade and competitors marketing.
• Creation and coordination of product and promotional video shoots.
• Creating and managing company social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Working with outsourced providers for aspects of marketing not done inhouse
• Working with sales team to fully understand features and benefits of products and services to be promoted to the customers.
• Working with Sales and Marketing Director to plan and maintain marketing program and calendar.

Requirements

• Direct marketing experience
• Ability to work within a team and individually to meet deadlines.
• Content creation and writing of editorials.
• Understanding of SEO.
• Good understanding of graphic design.
• Maintaining WordPress Content Management System.
• Understanding of ecommerce marketing procedures.
• Ability to manage projects in a timely fashion.
• Process improvement.
• Proficient in using Adobe apps, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premier Pro.
• Proven track record in marketing or relevant degree
• Experience in the above skills, managing SEO/SEM, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
• Highly creative with good content creation skills.
• Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools.
• Experience in setting up and optimising PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
