We are looking to hire a Senior Software Developer (SAP MM) to be based in London but they may also be required to work at different locations as required by the needs of the business and Applexus clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Use IT knowledge and guide the customer in the development of a successful implementation roadmap and outline the value of the SAP S/4 HANA Fashion / Retail platform • Use IT knowledge and design and develop solutions for (medium/high) complex tasks with high technical and functional quality including the necessary documentation • Use IT knowledge and experience to develop a functional strategy based on our customers’ plan and a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations • Use IT knowledge and experience to apply a structured approach to capture perspective of the business function including, business capabilities, business and technology processes, organization & people, technology, data and information • Effectively communicate with client within the business function and related teams to identify areas of opportunity, challenges and drive change • Conduct workshops and document complex business processes • Perform technical analysis to determine present and future business performance
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP AFS MM functional capabilities as well as business processes and industry best practices • Expertise in the configuration and implementation, deployment of SAP AFS and FMS • Expertise in the integration of SAP S/4 HANA / SAP ECC/ with SAP AFS SCM solution and reporting applications • Partner with the client to analyze and define business requirements, processes and objectives to scope project and deliverables for same • Experience in performing gap analysis and, identifying, developing and implementing process improvements • Liaise with senior stakeholders in the business to present findings and ideas, making recommendations in the process • Experience in providing technical design & development task estimates and contribute to project planning activities • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment • Ability to learn new concepts, business processes and software quickly • Proven experience working with innovative technologies • Ability to work in an agile environment with the ability to pick and learn new data tools very quickly • Work together with the SAP FMS technical team implement, customize and test solutions on client system and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed. • Methodical and logical approach to work with strong problem-solving skills; ability to use technology to solve business problems • Passionate about learning new technologies • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong time-management and organizational skills « Return to the search results
