Role Purpose
Our Small Works department is a fast-paced environment delivering Mechanical, Electrical and building fabric projects though a mix of self delivery via our engineering resource and specialist supply chain partners for multiple clients across all sectors. The Programme Managers form part of a team providing operational leadership, support, and direction to a diverse team of staff and contractors throughout the UK.
Your role will be focused on providing consistency, driving delivery and producing meaningful updates for all stakeholders at defined intervals and adhoc. You will be tasked with managing the 3rd part design specialists & helping the construction teams with any technical queries or clarifications they might need.
This role is predominantly a governance position to ensure consistency of delivery across the UK (H&S, Cost, Time, Quality, Design & Method). You will from time to time be required to carry out visits to locations to ensure these consistencies are met. Following allocation of the location, you will ensure all prerequisites from a design perspective are in place along with ensuring Asbestos, Radon & other H&S considerations are made as part of the design. Once the design is agreed, you will allocate this project to a regionally based Project Manager who will carry out the day to day construction activities, for which you will have overall responsibility to ensure its delivery. You will also be expected to have some Project Management experience and the ability to deliver the fit out activity where required to ensure client expectations are upheld.
All projects must be delivered in line with Integral’s policies and processes, delivering client satisfaction though the work undertaken and you will demonstrate and accomplish project objectives through costing and planning activities; evaluating implementation and progressing the successful delivery
Main Duties/Responsibilities
Qualifications and Experience
Industry relevant qualifications (Prince 2, Degree, or trade qualifications) or experience
IOSH or equivalent H+S training
Design experience. Production of drawings, LLC, Local authority etc
SMSTS
Competent working knowledge of M&E and/or Fabric Disciplines
Sound level of administration and organisational skills
Relevant operational experience of leading and managing diverse teams
Experience of performance management to KPIs and utilising operational MI Systems
Computer literate Word, Excel, Outlook
