Salary: £46,319 - £61,175 depending on skills and experience

What is the Role?
Owing to growth in our Cyber Risk and Information Security (CRIS) team, we are looking for two experienced Business Analysts (BA) to join the Security Improvement Programme (SIP). This role would suit an experienced BA with Information Security experience or a BA who is looking to stretch their skills with an eye to making the transition into Information Security. Reporting to the SIP Programme Manager, you'll have the opportunity to work on a range of projects within the (SIP).
The SIP is a multi-million pound investment in the security posture of SSE. Given the ever-changing nature of Cyber security the scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
- Cloud security controls
- Security operations development
- Continuous security improvement
- Endpoint security
- Network security
- Privileged access and identity management
What do I need?
You'll be an experienced BA with a strong history of delivering successful IT projects in complex operational environments. Previous experience in a DevSecOps or similar CDCI environment will be advantageous and strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills are essential. Experience in the following functional areas would be especially relevant:
- Cyber Security project delivery
- Cloud project delivery
- IT infrastructure and operations project delivery
Ideally, you'll hold a relevant professional qualification and some accreditation in agile methods would also be an advantage.
