We have an exciting opportunity available for a Social Media Manager to join us based at our state-of-the-art Headquarters in Southampton, however, all our people, where they can are currently working from home. You will join us on a full time, permanentbasis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £33,380 - £37,306 per annum.

About the role:

As our Social Media Manager, you will play a key strategic role in the Customer and Marketing team within the Consumer Business Unit. We’re looking to transform our social media presence and evaluate its performance through a customer-centric, content-focused, expert approach; and need you to help us do this.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will work with your team to create and deliver a social media strategy and content that has seamless links to Masterbrand, whilst utilising the core mission of the Consumer Business Unit. You will define platform usage and purpose and then deliver content and activity that leads to social engagement and traffic generation, whilst contributing to KPI’s and targets.

You will have responsibility for all of our B2C social media platforms – including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter – and you will utilise your first-class social media knowledge and experience to drive community engagement and growth; whilst also improving efficiency and commercial performance via both paid and organic activities.

What we’re looking for in our ideal Social Media Manager:

- A love of social media, with strong experience in both paid and organic activity, and content ideation and creation

- Demonstrable experience and success in creating, delivering and the ongoing optimisation of social media strategies

- Exceptional, proven skills and clear experience in delivering successful activity and content

- Knowledge of and experience working with social media management platforms and Google Analytics

- Solid, demonstrable mix of both creative and analytical skills and experience

- Experience in planning, building and scheduling paid social media advertising campaigns

- The ability and willingness to work end to end, working both strategically and in implementation

- A clear understanding of data compliance and legislation governing data use for social media

- Strong financial and commercial awareness and experience and expertise in building and maintaining a budget

- Performance-driven with excellent skill in monitoring performance and necessary optimisation; with a high level of experience in reporting on performance and suggesting and making short- and long-term enhancements

- Ability to develop cross-channel tactics and campaign strategies with robust activation plans for products and apps across social channels

- An excellent record of working within a marketing team or with an agency to deliver successful social media strategies and plans
