About the role

We do this using agile methodologies, with continuous testing, architecting, integration, delivery and validated learning.
Here, the postholder will perform a tech lead role for the data futures programme. you will line manage a small team of Jisc developers, manage a number of contract developers, and lead elements of the design, architecture and development of this high profile national programme, working in partnership with the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) to create and deliver the new software platform that will collect key statutory data on a regular basis from all UK providers of higher education, delivering that data to the English HE regulator the Office for Students, and its counterparts in the home nations. You will work closely with product owners and other stakeholders on the business side.
And as a senior member of the Jisc Software Development Group, you will input into wider relevant standards and technical leadership across Jisc, encouraging a modern, agile approach to software, across the entire organisation.
