Lakeside View is a 28 bedded mental health hospital in Willenhall with 3 small acute wards which complement the community feel of the hospital. We are an independent sector hospital however all of our patients are NHS patients and we work very closely with local NHS trusts to ensure promote recovery and facilitate discharge at the earliest opportunity that is safe. We have a diverse and extensive MDT including Ward Managers, Charge Nurses, Speciality Doctors, Night Managers, Support Workers, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Activity Coordinators, the Senior Management Team and discharge co-ordinators from our local NHS trusts.
We pride ourselves on excellent working relationships with patient, families and external agencies to support collaborative working and ensure clear communication throughout the care pathway.
Our wards are:
Finch Ward - 12 bedded male acute ward
Robin Ward - 8 bedded male acute ward
Swan Ward - 8 bedded female acute ward

We are seeking a full time Speciality Doctor who will care for 14 patients at Lakeside View alongside a full time Consultant Psychiatrist
• Previous mental health inpatient experience is desirable but not essential • Valid GMC registration • A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills • Excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice • Evidence of post registration continuing professional development (preferred) • Approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act (preferred) • Membership of Royal College of Psychiatrists, Physicians, General Practitioners or equivalent (preferred)
