systems accountant

Exciting new Systems Accountant role available to join our well established Finance team.

You will be accountable for delivery in the following areas:

Support the Finance team to provide the best experience to owners.

Enhance service to owners to achieve best in class documentation and service for financial related in formation.

Best Platform

Work with the data and platform development team in relation to the acquisitions

Work with the data and platform development team to drive improvements and efficiencies in the current systems and processes.

General

Provide support with integrating the acquisition and review processes.

Provide data as per audit requests and to other external stakeholders

Provide support to finance team and other departments with ad-hoc requests
Working with external advisors in order to complete any initial accounting and legal requirements

Liaising with colleagues around the business on systems development required for integrations.

Taking ownership of the Financial queries regarding the internal booking system and resolving any technical issues.

Working with the existing M&A team to integrate the accounting systems of new business segments into the back office software through specifying, developing and testing any new system developments that are required.

Working alongside the development team and within the Tribes structure to specify the accounting requirements of any new developments, using user stories.

Assist in improving processes across the company to increase efficiency.

Working with the existing team to support projects and other aspects of financial reporting.

Working with the existing team to support internal audit requirements.

Supporting external audit requirements.

Liaising with other departments and supporting ad-hoc requests

Take a proactive approach to developing the internal systems where you see improvements, to increase efficiency.

The Systems Accountant must have credible knowledge of the issues facing the business on a day-to-day basis and in the longer term. You should be able to pro-actively develop and improve business processes whilst maintaining the Company's professional image.

You will need to be able to provide clear communications between all parts of the business and will be forward looking in anticipating future challenges and opportunities and respond to these with effective planning.
