Pepper Advantage UK is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for a SystemsDevelopment Manager to join our dynamic cross-functional team in Uxbridge.

Your role would focus on managing the development aspects of the software development cycle as well as contributing to design discussions, advising stakeholders on potential solutions, and supporting the testing team.

As a Systems Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• line management of a team of 5-8 .NET developers.
• developing and maintaining the C# & VB.NET Pepper UK Ltd software platforms.
• developing Pepper Advantage's internal & public API offerings.
• provision of L3 systems support.
• developing & maintaining the PUK data warehouse ETL & client reporting processes (both of which are overnight processes).
• supporting the BAU Helpdesk for business systems, ensuring support requests are dealt with effectively.
• tracking and applying essential component upgrades to avoid obsolescence.
• ensuring that the Development team works effectively across the SDLC lifecycle and liaising with other functional areas as well as the teams of BA's and testers.
• acting as the technical lead for conversations with clients regarding client on-boarding or specific items on the client change agenda.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Systems Development Manager, Development Manager, Systems Developer, Software Developer, Lead Developer or in a similar role.

This Systems Development Manager position is a hybrid role and there will be an expectation (following an initial training period of approximately three months), of 2-3 days a week in our Uxbridge office.

• Minimum of 2 years' development team management experience.
• Detailed knowledge and experience with VB.NET and C#.NET Core as well as exceptional T-SQL.
• Good knowledge of Jira and the Microsoft suite.
• High attention to detail.
• Self-reliant and self-motivated.
• Accurate in your work, well organised and reliable.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience working within the financial industry (desirable).
