• Work alongside the client, Salesforce appointed architects and the clients Salesforce development team through discovery, design and delivery of solutions. • Liaise with stakeholders and teams throughout the product life cycle to provide expert knowledge and guidance for design and delivery of solutions • Estimate work efforts required for each phase of a project; direct design, development, and implementation responsibility (with and without 3rdparty development support) • When necessary be able to apply customisation of Salesforce using Apex and Visualforce • Provide product and technical expertise when scoping complex projects and related integrations • Review code and solution summaries where appropriate to ensure adherence to best practices and fit-for-purpose development • Data migration & integration using data transfer tools (ie Talend, Mulesoft and AWS) • Participate and lead internal and external learning and sharing activities, including conferences and technical presentations • Maintain and develop certifications in selected salesforce products (ie Sales, Service and Financial Services Cloud, Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform Developer 1&2) • Act as CRM trusted advisor in support of business unit projects through all phases of requirement gathering, dissemination of requirements to 3rdparty development team if applicable, design, testing, and deployment; product demonstration and use-case modelling, business process development and related configuration, alignment and buy-in with stakeholders, direct support of business unit staff during launch, etc. • Engagement of vendor Support groups, exceptional working knowledge of Salesforce support channels for application development and management • Applies advanced Salesforce technical principles and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concept
The skills and experience were looking for:
• 5 years + Salesforce Platform Design and Development Experience. • Be an ideal person and problem solver as well as someone who is prepared to get hands on with development. • 5 years + as a Consultant in a mid/large organisation. • 5 years + Salesforce Platform Design and Development Experience. • Expert technical understanding and systems integration experience with Salesforce Platforms including Sales, Service, Financial Services, Community, Marketing and App Cloud. • Multiple Salesforce Certifications across Admin (Admin/Advanced Admin), Development (App Builder, Platform Developer) and Cloud (Sales and Service) • Hands on experience of building Lightning components, Lightning Connect, Lightning App Builder, Lightning Scheme Builder and Lightning Framework. • Hands on experience with Force.Com technologies. • Hands on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Financial Services Cloud. • Expertise in Salesforce workflows, UI design, reporting, dashboards and application roll outs. • Hands on experience with both Agile (SCRUM, SAFE or LEAN) and Waterfall methodologies.
