Can you focus on the timely and efficient delivery of the day to day global mobility compliance while simultaneously building and maintaining effective relationships at a senior level, to support strategic priorities? Are you experienced in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, have strong data analytical and presentation skills and can make a quick positive impact?

The University's new strategy – Universal Values, Global Change, sets out our ambitions to build a thriving community and a collaborative culture to make an impact locally and globally in the areas of research and innovation, student education, digital transformation and international.

The University continues to expand its activities overseas and for the periods of time when staff work abroad, the staff and their Faculties require expertise and practical guidance for all aspects of international mobility. This role will work closely with their counterparts in HR and Payroll to continually improve a cohesive policy and clear guidance on international mobility. It will require a collaborative approach to delivering solutions for the University and individual members of staff working overseas. It will be an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax accountant or global mobility specialist who has worked in a large complex organisation looking for a new challenge.

It is essential that the University has robust and integrated financial systems and processes and complies with all tax legislation relevant to the University including the timely, accurate submission of returns and payment of all taxes due. As an experienced Accountant, you will help ensure that the Tax Strategy is implemented and that appropriate levels of control are in place.

You will be based in Financial Services reporting directly to the Tax Manager but will also work closely with other finance and HR colleagues across the University.
