The organisation currently has a vacancy for a Technical Product Manager within the UK to provide project services to one of the organisation’s major financial services clients, at a client location in Brighton.
The key accountabilities for the Technical Product Manager are as follows:
• Defining and designing the Global Payment API product and capability requirements whilst working collaboratively with stakeholders and external partners • Ownership of the PCI DSS solution delivery, Microservices & APIs product roadmap from inception to launch. Ensure progress is visible across all communication channels like ‘Agile CA central’, PMO SharePoint & Project SharePoint • Conduct PI planning, Mid PI planning review with GR engineering and GR product. Present & align priorities with all the stakeholders • Write user stories & features, groom them, conduct sprint planning with PCI DSS designated two Scrum teams, accept stories or features after demo and drive delivery of the features from development up to user handover • Provide regular updates to VPs and Directors with initiative’s progress and manage emerging risks and issues • Conduct sessions and presentation on completed features of the payment product and initiatives with internal stakeholders. Share thought leadership with stakeholders on digital transformation of payment and platform capabilities • Participate and provide support in change management with servicing, operations and impacted stakeholders. Provide training material as required by change management team.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria:
• In-depth experience with: o Payment channels: push & pull channels, web based, digital and VRU; o Payment types: ACH, BACS, faster payments, SPEI, CHAPS, DD, EFT/wire, digital and mobile payments; o Payment systems/platforms: internal developed platforms and third party systems like GlobeStar, EMM & GR APIs, CAS, GPP, WCR, GRIP, GCAM, FAH, Triumph and PSH; o Global remittance partners: digital payment platforms - MYCA, Mobile and Servicing Platforms- CSP, GSP, IVR Business & Technology partners of Global Remittance: Global Risk and Compliance, GMS-Global Merchant services, GNS - Global Network services, GCP & GCS - Global corporate payments, Global corporate services and GNA-Global New Accounts. • Demonstrable experience and understanding of the discipline of the Agile Product Management. Must possess industry known certification like CSM, CSPO, DSDM Agile Professional or SAFe; • Good understanding of modern software development practices and API specifications; • Strong analytical skills with ability to quickly understand and decompose large business problems and in turn create material for both technical and business-focused audiences to communicate problem break-down; • Experience of working with various teams including engineers, QA, integration, risk, compliance, payment servicing and payment operation teams; • Have comprehensive experience of working with stakeholders in the software development process from product definition through to product delivery; • Extensive experience of negotiating, influencing, facilitating and presenting product scope and priority to stakeholders; • Experience of working independently and under pressure, both in terms of deliverable deadlines and communication with leaders, managers and resources under difficult situations and deadlines.
