Who you are

We are now recruiting for a Account Manager for our busiest European market, the UK. Your main responsibilities will be to generate new, and repeat business for the ARGUS suite of products.

Working as part of a small team you'll be identifying prospects and working with them through the full sales life cycle. You'll also take on the responsibility of account management post sale activity, providing additional, and ongoing, revenue streams through services and cross selling our product range.

Through capitalising on our excellent reputation, the use of targeted sales campaigns and strategies and attending the most relevant exhibitions globally, you will generate a good percentage of your business through inbound sales leads and our existing clients, but you will also be keen to build on this and bring in further new business accounts too.

Role responsibilities:

  • To take full responsibility for an existing and prospective client base - to reach and achieve revenue objectives and targets within those accounts
  • Calling all prospects and driving activity in the allocated territory and maintaining an ongoing relationship to identify cross selling opportunities
  • Building lists of prospects, leads and sales efforts in our Salesforce CRM system (using LinkedIn, Prequin etc)
  • Follow up on all inbound leads, sales inquiries, and marketing responses
  • Networking and building new business relationships within territory to secure all business opportunities
  • Heading up the expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients
  • Leverage marketing events in order further develop relationships
  • Developing and delivering product solution presentations to all levels of prospects management and identifying an appropriate solution for the customer
  • Respond to RFPs, prepare formal proposals, quotes, and contracts in cooperation with finance and legal groups
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making, and overcome objections to closure in commercial agreements
  • Attending visits on client site to deliver presentations and further account business
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all prospecting and account activity in a timely and consistent manner in the CRM system
  • Providing account management support and system management to accounts within assigned territory, including preparing quotations, monitoring sales progress and providing accurate forecasting information.
  • Learning and continued professional development about the business of Commercial Real Estate and the ARGUS suite of products
Position Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of software sales would be preferred
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Sales experience with cloud or SaaS technology (within Commercial Real Estate would be highly desirable)
  • Proven success of meeting or exceeding quotas and targets
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Negotiation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
