ABOUT THE POST
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ITS Web Team for a motivated and self-organised Application Analyst (Web) with a solid web technology background, good team working skills, and dedication to delivering outstanding services and support to our students and staff.
You will be involved in a variety of tasks and projects. Supporting, developing and deploying web services to meet the needs of the University and our end users. You will have a key role in the provision, management, and support of the ITS Web Team application portfolio.
The successful candidate will have:
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in information science or a related discipline
• Proven professional working experience in a relevant web development or web maintenance environment
• Experience of 2nd/3rd line support, change and release management, upgrade deployments, and web maintenance
• Experience and knowledge of server administration in either Linux and/or Windows Server systems
• Have working knowledge of programming languages, such as; PHP, Python, C#, HTML, CSS, (with Coldfusion being of benefit)
