The Role

A highly visible role in supporting our managed services operations with sustaining standards in governance, risk, compliance.

The compliance manager will be a member of an established team and work with team members on a day to day basis. You will be supporting the delivery of operations compliance at the 2nd line within a 3-line defence model to include sampling and controls testing, signposting and support the enforcement of the systems and controls framework.

This role includes supporting the promotion of the ethical and compliance culture through delivery of ongoing education, training and awareness across the centres, monitoring the performance of the 1st line defence and being the compliance champion to ensure adherence to a risk-based approach in everything we do and making sure our systems and controls becomes an integral way of life for all stakeholders.

The compliance manager is required to report on trends from incidents to provide leadership with insights into where targeted improvements can be made to mitigate risk exposures.

The workplace is a fast-paced, dynamic but highly sensitive and confidential environment delivering a service with precision by an international network of service centres in the UK, Republic of Ireland and India.

The compliance manager must, therefore, be highly organised, diligent and be able to respond quickly to support 'internal customers’ with compliance queries often at short notice, whilst delivering on core compliance services to strict deadlines.

The compliance department sets the benchmark for high quality standards and therefore, it is expected the compliance manager works with precision and capitalises on the benefits of utilising a wide range of technologies, resources and media. If you have reasonable knowledge, understanding and experience of working in sectors with high volumes and diversity of statutory and regulatory requirements, including industry standards for outsourced payroll services and would enjoy working in a mid-sized organisation with strong values and growth plans, then this is the job for you.
