We have established an enviable track record in the design and delivery of large-scale innovative HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance & Accounting solutions to significantly improve efficiencies and enhance service levels across Government and Public Sector.
Our clients include a number of government agencies including the Department for Work and Pensions, Environment Agency Department for Education, Ministry of Justice and Home Office as well as the Metropolitan Police Service and the Construction Industry Training Board.

The day job
Are you currently working in a contact centre in sales? We are looking for a sales person who has experience working in this environment to help build our Business opportunities in contact centre. SSCL Government provides Contact Centre services to over 300K Civil Servants across our Government clients, supporting our BPO outsource services for HR, Payroll and Finance as well as delivering a citizen facing enquiry service for one of our largest UK Government Clients
The role holder will work closely with our Contact Centre operational lead and OMNI channel solution lead.  It is very much a client facing role, engaging actively with key stakeholders across our existing client base and new prospects, to manage growth opportunities through the pipeline.

Key responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue & margin targets from new customers on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and Create, manage and maintain a documented account development strategy, which also complements wider growth strategies.
  • Work with business partnerships, marketing or other internal departments to proactively identify and target customers and build growth strategies for specific customer accounts and develop and maintain an adequate pipeline of opportunities.
  • Manage customer expectations during bid, delivery and throughout the contract as well as Manage and co-ordinate internal teams to deliver to customer expectations and escalate on behalf of the customer as required.
  • Work closely with solutions, delivery, support and any bid-related teams to effectively create and deliver new business wins and Motivate, manage and contribute towards any virtual bid team and deliver a quality bid/tender ahead of deadlines.
  • Build and maintain a good understanding of SSCL current Contact offerings, working closely with the Innovation & Strategy team to keep abreast of the OMNI
  • Channel solution evolution and Illustrate business advantage of our products and services to customers and other colleagues.
Required skills
You need to have:

  • Established Contact Centre growth and solutions experience with a proven track record.
  • Expert knowledge on of Contact Centre as an industry.
  • Client engagement experience essential
  • Able to work without supervision.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills.

  • Knowledge of both Public and Private sector markets.
