We are continuing to grow our Financial Services Advisory practice and have an ambitious growth. To facilitate this growth we are growing our Economic Crime Advisory team and service offering. Due to the regulatory and supervisory focus on firms’ financial crime systems and controls, firms are under increased pressure to ensure that they have a robust financial crime framework to mitigate the risk of money laundering and other such financial crimes. BDO is one of the industry’s leading financial services consultancies in this area, and has been selected by a number of firms to support them in enhancing their financial crime compliance. We have also been selected by firms, and the FCA, to act as the Skilled Person in c. 50% of the Section 166 Reports issued in 2019.
