We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our friendly team based in our Hayes Asphalt Plant, West London. Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Main Responsibilities
As the successful candidate, you’ll provide an effective link between the Operations and Engineering team. Delivering a high level of service quality to varied Mechanical Engineering related activities. You will be working closely with all members of the facility, reporting directly to the Site Manager in effectively carrying out preventative maintenance tasks and responding in a timely manner to breakdown repairs with a keen eye for continuous improvement.The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy plant maintenance or be a competent welder/ fabricator, although experience in similar industries will be considered. The candidate will have the ability to find solutions to maintenance issues and complete preventive maintenance inspections on the aggregate processing plant.
