An opportunity has arisen for a full time band 5 mental health practitioner to join the Crediton Community Mental Health Team.
This is a really great opportunity to join the team at an interesting and exciting time as we work towards transforming our community service so that we offer the best and most comprehensive care to the people of Exeter.
This post would either suit either someone who has experience of community mental health or mental health nurses, social workers or occupational therapist who are about to qualify and are looking for that influential first post which helps you consolidate all the skills you’ve acquired in your training.
This is a permanent position in beautiful market towns of Crediton & Okehampton, combining town and rural settings in your working life and you'll be joining Devon Partnership Trust.

£24,907 - £30,615 per annum pro rata (Band 5)
The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, motivated and skilled team and help the team build upon the successful work it has already done following its re-design, and you’ll also be part of the exciting work we about to undertake as we implement the new community frameworks.
It will be an essential requirement for newly qualified social workers to demonstrate that they have completed The Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) before commencing in post or there will be a requirement to complete this within the first 12 months of employment with the Trust.
Your base will be Crediton, however under the current COVID-19 conditions this may be subject to alternative arrangements / change for example home working. Please be assured that any alternatives will be discussed fully with you and the organisation. Please ask the appointing manager if you have any questions.
