You will work 37.5 hours a week at Thornford Park, a 130 bedded independent hospital which supports service users that require medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. In addition to these services, there is also a PICU Mental Health Service.
Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will manage and support a complex caseload of 24 forensic service users detained under the Mental Health Act. You will be responsible for completing CPA reports, Mental Health Tribunals and Managers Hearings, and for assessing service users current social circumstances, analysing the impact on their mental health and providing support in developing feasible plans for their future.
As a senior member of the team, you will lead and promote children and adult safeguarding and will be requested to design and deliver training and supervisions.
