Thie role will work on a full range of town planning activities, from the management of major and minor planning applications, through to planning policy lobbying, strategic site promotion and the delivery of planning consents.

Taking an instrumental role in the delivery of a S106 and CIL fund capture programme. The ideal candidate will have:

• substantial professional experience in town planning (including at least 5 years post qualification).

• substantial experience of dealing with a wide variety of town planning applications.

• substantial experience of managing a high, variable and challenging workload of major planning projects, and of providing town planning advice to a variety of people and organisations in a commercial context.

• Ability to apply town planning expertise on a commercial basis.

• Ability to work as both a leader and as part of a professional team.

• Extensive experience of meticulously preparing planning applications and producing comprehensive written reports.

• Extensive experience of dealing with politically sensitive town planning matters and negotiating positive outcomes.

• Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage workload with frequent deadlines.
