Job description:
About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Process Excellence Engineer to drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across our Hamble and Fareham operation, where you will actively identify and promote the implementation of improvements at site(s) in line with our UK & Ireland practices.
You will report locally to the General Manager, however, have a wider connection with the centralised Business Process Excellence (BPE) structure. You will be responsible for building and managing a pipeline of cost initiatives across all operational areas, delivering these initiatives to ensure continuous improvement targets are achieved, monitored and exceeded, assisting with onsite implementation of best practices and the deployment of CEVA’s SCA and Kaizen programmes, reporting centrally and locally on performance and progress. As a member of the wider LEAN and SCA Team, the individual will also be involved in supporting and conducting Site Classification Assessments across sites.
Our ideal candidate will have proven continuous improvement experience and used to working in a LEAN and Six Sigma environment, within a 3PL setting. With demonstrable experience of building and developing client relationships, you will also have a background in delivering operational excellence programs and driving change across large teams.
It goes without saying that you will possess exceptional communication, engagement and influencing abilities, be an efficient and effective problem solver and excellent presentation and report writing and analysis skills.
It would be desirable but not essential if you have proven project management and implementation experience
