Aon are currently recruiting a Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team in London. The Strategic Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for supporting Aon field offices in region with the development and launch of partnership opportunities with CoverWallet based with existing Aon clients, prospective clients, and existing Aon businesses. These partnerships will involve the creation or transformation of a business to distribute insurance based on the CoverWallet technology platform and digital operating model. You will support the across the deal lifecycle from prospecting, scoping, negotiation/close, build, and launch. You will develop an opportunity pipeline - identifying prospective client and internal opportunities and nurturing relationships. You will be responsible for preparing responses for requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs), and coordinating negotiation and closing of deals. You will also assist in roadmap development and capability prioritization for the CoverWallet platform based on the needs from regional clients.

About the Role
Your impact as a Strategic Business Development Manager:
Building a pipeline and manage a pipeline of opportunities for partnerships with existing clients, prospective clients, and Aon business areas;
Effectively articulate CoverWallet value proposition and technical capabilities in client meetings;
Leading opportunity qualification and discovery calls/meetings;
Developing relationships with client leaders, Aon account executives, and Aon business area leaders to understand and evaluate how the CoverWallet digital solution and capability could fuel growth opportunities;
Leading the creation of RFI/RFP responses, presentations on capabilities and qualifications, proposals, mock-ups, and other client-facing deliverables working with CoverWallet and in region business leaders;
Supporting the negotiation and close of deals for new partnership opportunities;
Continue to facilitate and engage clients and partners in build and launch phases;
Communicating priorities for regional clients to CoverWallet business and technical leaders for roadmap prioritization;
Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
Your knowledge and expertise:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent / business background preferred;
Masters in Business Administration, preferred but not essential;
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel;
Domain expertise in insurance preferred;
Fluency in technical sales of technology products, in particular should be able to communicate integrations between different entities via APIs;...
