Maximus is a well respected Leader of Employability Solutions in the Welfare to Work sector. We currently have vacancies across the London boroughs of Newham, Barking & Dagenham, Bromley, Havering, Redbridge, Walthamstow and Enfield, for people who want to help our customers to move into work.

We use proven, personalised and forensic processes to assess individuals strengths and parameters to determine the best way for our customers to find long term employment.

We’re looking for individuals that are determined, patient and caring to join our growing team of dedicated Employment Consultants across our Local London contract. What we offer

A flexible benefits package including; a health cash plan, holiday trade, cycle to work scheme and restaurant cards. We offer a salary of between £25,400 and £29,300 DOE and career development in a rewarding sector.

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting individuals to identify their barriers to gaining and sustaining employment
• Helping individuals to identify goals, prioritise and plan through successful delivery and co-ownership of agreed development plans
• Providing support to individuals when they progress into work, including adaptation, rapid response and career development
• Delivering both group and one-to-one bespoke employability interventions to support individuals development
• Exceeding or meeting key performance indicators and performance targets, as set by the programme
• Ensuring contract compliance by accurate data entry, completion of contractual and internal documentation and/or provider guidance
• Making effective use of appropriate resources to ensure commerciality and value for money
• Building strong relationships with referral partners, stakeholders, employers and contractors to generate programme flow and to identify employment opportunities for individuals

What we are looking for

  • Ability to deliver support to customers in a group setting and one to one basis.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast paced, targeted environment.
  • Able to inspire, challenge and motivate others and demonstrate resilience.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence.
  • Experience of working in a customer service, recruitment, sales or similar environment
