The day job We are looking for an experienced internal communications consultant with strong written, interpersonal and creative skills, looking for your next move. You will be responsible for driving communications for staff across all shared services connected ltd UK locations and also aligning with the wider Sopra Steria group internal communications team. As well as ensuring all the communications channels function properly and information is sent accurately and on time, you will help to ensure each communication is relevant for its audience so our people have the information they need, delivered in the way they need it. A key element of this role will be the opportunity to play a major part in the design, development and delivery of a new intranet site, working with a number of internal stakeholders to deliver the new channel which will underpin the communications.
Reporting to the SSCL Senior Corporate Communications Manager, you will play a key role in planning, structure and schedule of communications including collating all the correct information and then utilizing all the comms channels available, including weekly newsletters, video and internal social platforms.
You will be responsible for the weekly newsletter, you will plan, research engaging content and write the internal communications magazine, and ensure distributed each month, you may also be required to work on the layout and design of content.
You will support key internal communications events/webinars for the business as needed, including this will could include event management, content creation and on-site logistics.
Support the head of corporate communications to draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form.
Manage short turnaround communication and work closely with the business to ensure correct distribution lists are maintained.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages.
You will be an experienced internal communications professional with a strong track record in a multi-site, business to business environment.
Qualified to degree level, preferable in a communications or English literature subject
Personable and able to empathize and engage with different personalities across the business
Excellent at managing stakeholder relationships
Relentless in your attention to detail
Calm and focused in fast-paced environment including crisis situations with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to change
