We are currently supporting an innovative, family-run SME who are actively seeking an experienced International Head of Sales to achieve their ambitious growth plans. Based out of their Oxfordshire head office, the Head of Sales will take the full responsibility for the annual revenue of the business and leading the company's global sales teams based out of the UK, Italy, USA and France.
The business designs innovative furniture solutions for the commercial and hospitality spaces. It seeks to take greater a market share but also to diversify into other sectors.
We are looking for a professional Head of Sales that has in-depth experience of working within a brand led and sales driven business with a wealth of experience managing and coaching a team.
Ideally you will possess lots of passion and drive, high integrity, a creative mind, impeccable judgement and a track record of achieving stretching sales targets.
Key responsibilities and duties of this role...
Work closely with MD and SMT to influence, devise and implement all sales or company wide strategies in accordance with the annual business plan
Working with the MD to inform and/or gain commitment for strategic developments
Monthly reporting to plot progress of Global expansion
Review, analyse and report on results to identify opportunities and corrective actions required
Develop and grow the teams’ capabilities and ensure successors are in place for all key roles
Ensure high performing teams are in place and the structure is constantly appraised
Devise, implement or modify individual account strategies to ensure no existing or emerging customer account becomes 'at risk’
Attend customer meetings as required by the sales team and as appropriate to fully support a hands on approach
Drive the Global Business expansion and implement appropriate processes and structures to achieve this.
Lead, coach, mentor and train highly committed sales professionals internationally.

Experience in managing teams out of multiple locations internationally
Experience working in a dynamic environment
Experienced within specification sales
Extensive travel is required with frequent nights away
A proven track record in a Head of Sales role
Previous track record of delivering substantial growth
Additional languages would be an advantage but not essential
