Our Landscape, Masterplanning, Urbanism team are looking for a Junior Landscape Architect to come join our growing team, which consists of 30+ people offering the full spectrum of Landscape Architecture, Masterplanning and Urban Design services. The services range from Masterplanning, urban regeneration, strategic planning, design concept through to detail and implementation as well as Environmental Assessment and LVIA.
As part of our team you will focus on infrastructure led projects in tandem with master planning and urban design projects. In addition, you will work alongside a Senior Landscape Architect on site, inspecting planting plots during planting seasons.
You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including our in-house disciplines and high-profile designers as well as our sector leading external partners. You’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s largest, most complex and technically demanding projects. These currently include major large-scale Masterplans, City Centre public realm Regeneration projects, Green Infrastructure strategies and Landscape Masterplanning for some of the UK’s largest residential and mixed-use developments as well as significant infrastructure projects such as:
M4 Smart Motorway
Perry Barr Regeneration Development
Various Future High Street Fund projects and Town Investment Funds
Northstowe Masterplan / Urban extension
Otterpool Park Garden Settlement
Rochdale Canal and various other Projects (Canal and River Trust)
High Speed Rail 2
Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) such as Lower Thames Crossing.
However, not all of our projects are large scale. We have equally exciting smaller projects and, together, present a rich and varied portfolio of projects and clients including at national and local levels, and in both the private and public sector.

Degree/Diploma in Landscape Architecture or closely related subject
Experience working as an (Assistant) Landscape Architect on small to large-scale Masterplans (residential and mixed-use developments), City Centre public realm Regeneration projects, Green Infrastructure strategies
Experienced in assisting with the inspecting planting plots during planting seasons.
Experience working on significant infrastructure projects
Experience working on landscape planning and assessment projects
Proficient AutoCAD and Adobe user
Aim to start P2C with the Landscape Institute
Confident communication skills and report writing
Desired: Revit and/or 3d Sketchup, Modelling tools
Desired: Horticultural experience
