The Priory Hospital Glasgow is Scotland's leading independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital. We have a range of services including General Adult Psychiatry, Addictions and Eating Disorders.
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to work within our inpatient Eating Disorder Unit at the Priory Glasgow Hospital. Suitable candidates will have a degree in Occupational Therapy (MSc pre-registration or BSc) and registration with HCPC. The role involves applying OT interventions 1-to-1 with patients and also leading group work, and experience of both is required. Experience is required of undertaking formulation, risk assessment and positive risk management, and working with people with mental health difficulties. Applicants with experience of eating disorders are welcomed, but this is not essential. The role demands excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to demonstrate and apply understanding of policies and procedures.
