Job type: Permanent, full time (39 hours per week PLUS paid breaks when working as Registered Nurse – equivalent to 42 paid hours per week)
Salary: £15.50 to £19.00 per hour (with paid breaks this is equivalent to £33,852 to £41,496 per annum or £16.69 to £20.46 per hour) when working as a Registered Nurse. Salary when working as a Band 3 Nurse will be at least £10.50 per hour with no paid breaks (£21,294 per annum) until you achieve your NMC PIN
Part time or ‘bank’ positions also available. Optional paid overtime possible, subject to availability.

Byron House Care Home is little gem of a care home. With 28 beds, luxurious furnishings and a close-knit team, you will really get to know each and every resident and feel as though you are working in a family environment.
We are looking for Nurses who can lead their shift and supervise and develop the care team to support the delivery of high quality and individualised care to our elderly residents. You will build close relationships with your residents, championing their safety, dignity and well-being, and act as a role model in the delivery of excellent medical, physical and emotional care. The post holder will also be responsible for carrying out Nursing duties associated with the role, including medication management, wound management, care reviews and audits.
You will act as a Named Nurse for your own group of residents, assess resident needs, produce risk assessments and care plans, keep relevant records up to date and develop the plan of care as required.
In this post you will be required to work in line with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines, NMC code of conduct and relevant legislation.
