We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Support Executive to join a well-established, family run SME based in Northwich, Cheshire. The business has a fantastic culture, stable sales team and have delivered excellent YoY growth for several consecutive years.
As a Technical Sales Support Executive you will be organised and love getting on the phone, following up meetings and ensuring the Technical Sales Director has all he/she needs for meetings. You will work closely with the field sales team and understand exactly what they need in order to make them more effective.
Key responsibilities and duties of this role...
Booking 1st meetings
Managing the pipeline and opportunities
Loading visit notes on CRM
Booking meetings in outlook calendar
Preparing notes for upcoming visits
Follow up actions from previous meetings
Booking travel arrangements
Checking leads have come in on the WhatsApp chat/website
Interpret any technical problems accordingly
Proactively reseraching new business opportunities
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
Ideally experienced in consultative selling preferably within a technical sales environment (this is not essential)
Attitude! A strong desire to succeed
Experienced using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook etc and doing sales administration
Experience in diary management, planning travel
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
Hours: Mon - Fri 07:00 - 16:30 - some flex available based around weekly sales meetings and the daily huddle
Salary dependent on experience - £25,000 - £30,000
