Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow to contribute to the established professionally accredited Civil Engineering undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered in the School of Civil Engineering and Surveying. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and friendly academic department. Development of employable graduates is a core aim of our School and you will be expected to teach within your specialist area of Civil Engineering and provide an outstanding experience for our students, contributing to broader teaching initiatives. You will also be expected to take an active role in the academic and professional development of our Degree Apprenticeship students.
The successful applicant will have expertise in Civil Engineering. The role requires excellent communication and management skills, a willingness to engage with a broad range of built environment themes and an enthusiasm for the development of innovative teaching initiatives. A PhD in a relevant area or a professional qualification is required.
